Tasting Notes:

This remarkable washed Sidamo has an intense aroma of blueberries, peach and baker’s chocolate. In the cup we got cherry, lime & strawberries in the first sip with a juicy brightness, followed by dark chocolate and apricot notes with a sweet finish.

About the Coffee:

Famous for being the birthplace of coffee, Ethiopia has the widest genetic base for Arabica Coffee, greater than anywhere else in the world. The country also has the longest tradition of coffee production and consumption in the world.
This particular Sidamo is “special prep” which means that only the ripe, red coffee cherries are picked before being washed and dried. The result is coffees that are fruity, floral, fragrant and clean. This Sidamo from the Sidama Union is the best we have tasted this year.
