Japan Bancha Organic
The “vin d’table” of Japanese green teas, consisting of coarser leaves than a Sencha. This particular fine grade Bancha, displays a light-golden cup color and a slightly vegetal, sweet aroma. Brisk but lacks the harshness found in many lower grade Banchas.
Recommendations: Use 1 heaping tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh, cold water (180° F); let steep for 2 min.
