Jaho Coffee is seeking a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Delivery Driver to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe and bakery business. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for timely and accurate delivery of our products to our valued customers. The ideal candidate should possess excellent time management skills, a commitment to punctuality, physical strength to lift heavy weights, and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and adheres to all road safety regulations.
- Efficiently plan delivery routes to ensure timely product delivery to customers while optimizing fuel efficiency.
- Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and minimizing the risk of damage.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products in a courteous and professional manner, maintaining the positive image of Jaho Coffee.
- Collaborate with the cafe and bakery teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and address any customer concerns or special instructions.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, addresses, and product quantities.
- Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations, driving defensively and responsibly at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with additional tasks in the cafe and bakery as needed during non-delivery hours.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy weights, often involving bulky and fragile items.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to start work as early as 5am to meet delivery schedules.
- Familiarity with local roads and routes is an advantage.
- Prior experience in the food or hospitality industry is desirable.
