SUMATRA GAYO
About This Coffee
Grown at 1,400 meters in the Gayo Highlands of northern Sumatra, this natural-processed coffee showcases the region’s tropical, fertile environment and bold flavor profile. The Abyssinia varietal, a local heirloom, develops rich body and syrupy fruit notes under sun-drying conditions. Unlike the region’s more common wet-hulled style, this dry process yields a cleaner, more vivid cup - bursting with overripe banana, dark berry, and cocoa tones. A sensory departure from the earthy Sumatras of the past, this is fruit-forward Indonesian coffee reimagined.
