Grown at 1,700 meters in the cool, elevated hills of Murang’a County, Githiga Peaberry is produced from SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 varieties—cultivars known for their intense sweetness and balance. The washed process includes overnight fermentation and slow drying on raised beds, helping preserve the coffee’s sparkling acidity and delicate fruit character. Peaberries (single, round beans) tend to concentrate flavor more densely, making this cup a standout for those who love crisp, vibrant, and floral-forward Kenyan profiles.
